The total
time allotted for each of the courses
and
NATE exam/s will be
a total of ten (10) weeks.
We will have two lessons per night,
two nights a week.
The final night will be the four
hour NATE exam/s.

A certificate
of completion will be awarded at the end of the
Carrier courses an attendance of 80% is required to receive this
certificate.
NATE
certifications are distributed through the
North
American
Technician
Excellence
organization after passing their examinations; this usually will
take 2 to 3 weeks.
A passing grade of 70% is required to receive
NATE certification.
The
NATE exams offered are in two
categories, the "Servicer" and the "Installer".
There are three
areas of specialty exams offered, depending on
your field of expertise.
These are "Air Conditioning", "Heat Pump", and "Gas
Heating". The
prerequisite for either Servicer or Installer Specialty exam is
a passing score in the Core exam specific to that area.
The four (4) hours allotted for
NATE exams are
usually sufficient for both a Core and a Specialty exam.
Any technician who wants to demonstrate their
skills and proficiency in the HVAC/R industry should be
NATE certified.
Space
is limited and seating will be on a first come first serve basis.
To assure your acceptance in the
class, get your registration in as soon as possible.
Enclosed
is a registration form.
Extra copies of the registration
form may be obtained from our Service Department, or you may
make copies of the registration form shown above in the brown
box.
Please make
checks payable to DCNE or provide us with MasterCard, Visa, or
American Express information.
The cost for the ten week course is $525.00.
This includes all training materials, examinations.
The fee must accompany the registration form and be
received before the first session.
There will be no registrations at the door, and no
admittance without prior registration.
If you are
already NATE certified or do not wish to participate in the NATE
program please deduct $225.00 from the course.
